Цель исследования – показать роль водохранилищ в снижении негативных последствий наводнений в современных условиях. Представлены динамика создания водохранилищ в целом и c противопаводковой функцией в мире более чем за столетний период и распределение этих водохранилищ по частям света.The purpose of the research is to indicate the role of reservoirs in decreasing negative consequences of floods under modern conditions. There is given the dynamics of creation of reservoirs on the whole and with a flood-control function in the world for more than a centenary period and distribution of such reservoirs per different parts of the world.
