Основной задачей исследований является определение агрохозяйственных требований ведущих сельскохозяйственных культур к агроклиматическим и почвенно-мелиоративным условиям для последующего выявления возможных ареалов выращивания в условиях богарного и орошаемого земледелия бассейна Саны. Обобщены имеющиеся в научных источниках данные об агрохозяйственных требованиях ведущих сельскохозяйственных культур, исследован многовековой опыт земледельцев в границах горных природно-сельскохозяйственных районов. Проведены также дополнительные исследования требований ведущих сельскохозяйственных культур к условиям окружающей природной среды бассейна Саны, в том числе продолжительности вегетационного периода, средним срокам сева и посадки, температурного и светового режима, почвенным условиям, потребности в удобрениях, чувствительности к засолению, потребности в воде, глубине корневой системы по стадиям развития. Полученные данные по агрохозяйственным требованиям ведущих сельскохозяйственных культур были сопоставлены с земельными, агроклиматическими и почвенно-мелиоративными условиями горных природно-сельскохозяйственных районов бассейна Саны. Сделаны выводы о возможных ареалах выращивания ведущих сельскохозяйственных культур в условиях богарного и орошаемого земледелия. //The main objective of the study is to determine the agroeconomic requirements of leading agricultural crops to agroclimatic and soil-reclamation conditions, for the subsequent identifi cation of possible areas of cultivation in the conditions of rainfed and irrigated agriculture of the Sanaa basin. The data available in scientifi c sources on the agroeconomic requirements of leading agricultural crops are summarized, the longterm experience of farmers within the boundaries of mountainous natural and agricultural areas is studied, and additional studies of the requirements of leading agricultural crops to the environmental conditions of the basin of Sana’a, including the duration of the growing season, average sowing time and planting, temperature and light conditions, soil conditions, fertilizer needs, sensitivity to salinization, water needs, the depth of the root system by stages of development. The data obtained on the agroeconomic requirements of the leading agricultural crops were compared with the land, agroclimatic and soilreclamation conditions of the mountainous natural and agricultural areas of the Sanaa basin. Conclusions are drawn about possible areas of cultivation of leading agricultural crops in the conditions of rainfed and irrigated agriculture.
