Для преодоления кризисных явлений в овцеводстве Забайкальского края одним из основополагающих факторов, который будет способствовать решению этой задачи является наличие развитой и качественной племенной базы. В связи с этим проанализировано современное состояние племенного дела в Забайкальском крае, рассмотрены как позитивные, так и негативные тенденции в его развитии, и предложены меры, направленные на повышение эффективности организации племенной работы в овцеводстве.To overcome the crisis in the sheep of the TRANS-Baikal territory one of the fundamental factors that will contribute to the solution of this problem is the presence of a developed and high-quality breeding base.
