В статье рассматриваются некоторые вопросы породообразовательного процесса и развития овцеводства в нашей стране. За последние 18 лет в РФ создано 13 новых пород овец. Выведение новых пород и типов овец должны оказывать позитивное влияние на состояние отрасли в овцеводческих предприятиях России, но этого не происходит. В этой связи авторы рассматривают проблемы породообразовательного процесса в овцеводстве РФ, сложившиеся в последнее время.The article deals with some issues of the breed-forming process and the development of sheep breeding in our country. Over the last 18 years in Russia created 13 new breeds of sheep. Breeding of new breeds and types of sheep should have a positive impact on the state of the industry in the sheep-breeding enterprises of Russia, but this does not happen.
