В статье приводятся результаты изучения качества шерсти баранов южноуральской, алтайской, ставропольской пород. /The article presents the results of studying the quality of sheep wool of the South Ural, Altai, Stavropol, and North Caucasus meat and wool breeds. It was found that the most coarsened wool in all topographic areas of the rune was characterized by sheep of the North Caucasian meat-wool breed.
