У овец породы прекос разных конституционально-продуктивных типов изучено формирование кожно-шёрстного покрова: общей толщины кожи и её отдельных слоёв, густоты волосяных фолликулов, в том числе и с учётом усадки кожи в процессе приготовления гистологических препаратов; физико-технических свойств шерсти на различных топографических участках руна.
