Целью исследования является изучение особенностей формирования контингента студентов специальности 36.05.01 Ветеринария в российских вузах. Анализ проводился по данным о контингенте студентов формы статистического наблюдения ВПО-1, опубликованным Министерством науки и высшего образования РФ, за 2013-2020 гг. По результатам проведенного анализа было отмечено увеличение контингента студентов, зачисленных в российские вузы для обучения по специальности 36.05.01 Ветеринария, количества регионов, на территории которых осуществляется подготовка ветеринарных врачей, а также расширение вузами подготовки по очно-заочной и заочной формам обучения. /The purpose of the research is to study the peculiarities of the formation of the contingent of students of the specialty 36.05.01 Veterinary medicine in Russian universities. The analysis was carried out on the basis of data on the student population of the form of statistical observation VPO-1, published by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, for 2013-2020. According to the results of the analysis, was noted an increase in the contingent of students enrolled in Russian universities for training in the specialty 36.05.01 Veterinary medicine, the number of regions on the territory of which the training of veterinarians is carried out, as well as the expansion of training by universities in part-time and part-time forms of education.
