Данная работа посвящена описанию первичного ареала Козлятника восточного (Galega orientalis Lam.). Основной ареал Козлятника восточного приурочен к северному макросклону Большого Кавказского хребта. В Закавказье вид относительно нередок в прилегающих к Большому Кавказу районах Азербальджана. Отмечен в лесных районах Центральной и Восточной Грузии. В Армении достоверно известен из немногих местонахождений в Лорийской области./This article is devoted to the description the native area of the Galega orientalis. The main habitat of the Galega orientalis is confined to the northern macroslope of the Greater Caucasus Range. Galega orientalis is relatively common in the regions of Azerbaijan adjacent to the Greater Caucasus. Galega orientalis recorded in forested areas of Central and Eastern Georgia. Galega orientalis is reliably known from the few localities in the Lori region in Armenia.
