Полезащитные лесные насаждения предназначены для защиты сельскохозяйственных полей от различных неблагоприятных явлений. Своевременная оценка их состояния имеет важное значение для назначения необходимых лесохозяйственных мероприятий. С целью оценки состояния лесных полос, созданных на сельскохозяйственных землях юга России нами были проведены исследования на территории ООО «Аксайская Нива» в Аксайском районе Ростовской области.Изучены десять возрастных лесных полос от Robinia pseudoacacia L. и Ulmus pumila L., характерных для аридных степных условий. Elytrigia repens преобладает в живом напочвенном покрове лесных полос, составляя 84,6%. Масса лесной подстилки самая большая в лесной полосе из Ulmus – 0,36 кг/м2. Толщина лесной подстилки увеличивалась с возрастом лесополос и в возрасте 65 лет достигала 4,3 см в древостоях вяза. Установлено наличие вредных организмов, пожаров и механических повреждений в лесных полосах. Наилучшие таксационные характеристики и состояние имеют молодые насаждения в возрасте до 25-30 лет, где санитарной рубке подлежат 27,3 и 24,0 процентов от запаса соответственно. Наихудшие показатели наблюдаются в более старых насаждениях, где вырубке подлежит до 79,8 процента запаса соответственно.В результате отсутствия ухода и различных повреждений полезащитные насаждения утратили свои функции. Для восстановления мелиоративных свойств лесных полос возрастом до 50 лет достаточно провести мероприятия по уходу за насаждениями, а в более старых насаждениях (50 лет и выше) требуется реконструкция. / Field-protective forest plantings are intended to protect agricultural fields from various adverse events. A timely assessment of their condition is important for setting necessary forest practices. To assess the state of forest strips formed on the agricultural lands of the southern Russia, the research on the territory of OOO «Aksaiskaya Niva» in the Aksai region of the Rostov area was conducted. There are studied ten age forest strips of Robinia pseudoacacia L. and Ulmus pumila L. which are characteristic of arid steppe conditions. Elytrigia repens prevails in the live ground cover of forest strips making 84.6%. The mass of the forest floor is the largest in the forest strip of Ulmus – 0.36 kg/m2. The thickness of the forest floor was increasing with the forest strips age and at the age of 65 years reached 4.3 cm in the elm stands. The presence of harmful organisms, fires and mechanical damages in forest strips was established. Young stands under the age of 25-30 years where 27.3 and 24.0 percent of the stock are subject to sanitary felling, respectively have the best taxation characteristics and condition. The worst indicators are observed in older stands, where up to 79.8 percent of the stock is subject to felling, respectively. As a result of lack of maintenance and various damages field-protective plantings lost their functions. To restore the reclamation properties of the forest strips aged up to 50 years, it is enough to carry out measures for the plantations care and in older plantations (50 years and more), reconstruction is required.
