The main advantages of these technologies are described, including individualization of products, reduction of development time, saving of materials and the possibility of creating complex geometric shapes. Specific examples of the use of additive manufacturing in leading tractor companies such as John Deere, AGCO Corporation, Rostselmash and CNH Industrial are given. The importance of additive technology for improving the efficiency of the design, production and maintenance of agricultural machinery is emphasized.
